Little Match Girl 2012

Dance Theatre Fairbanks performed The Little Match Girl for their annual winter performance.  There were six shows on December 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16.  I broke a personal record with the amount of photos I took.  The number ended up being well over 12,000.  The four that I am posting up today are the ones used for the DVD's created by Rachael Kvapil.  If you would like a copy, you can email me at dancingimagesphoto@gmail.com and let me know which one you would want.  ENJOY!!!

It's been a long time :/

I know it's been a long time since I last posted! But I can officially say that I am a college graduate with a BA in Journalism, minor in Theatre.  So I've been trying to destress and get my life back to normal and I realized that I hadn't posted any photos up since November! So I will be posting a few! There has been so much that has happened, like a CD Promo shoot, a 12/12/12 wedding, Dance Theatre Fairbanks' winter show, New Years Eve, and others!! Enjoy! I will try to post on here more!

In other news, the First Friday that I was planning for February 1, 2013 has been moved to May because there is a better show for my work to go into.

I've been hard at work with school the last few months but I made time to help some about to graduate from high school students and I wanted to show them off here :)

Update Time

There has been so much going on since the last time I wrote.  I'm in my last semester of school so most of my free time is going to homework and studying. I have been doing a few portraits here and there.  A wedding near the end of August. So much is happening.

ALSO I have a First Friday scheduled in February and I also get to put work up during the drag show at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Pub.  :)

There are a few projects that I am continuing and starting now. So models would be nice :)
-The Tattoo Portrait Project
- Rockabella Pinups
- Drag Faces
-Body paint (Hopefully)

That is it for now.  I really need to start writing in this more :/

Since the last time I posted...

Sorry it has been so long since I last posted on here!! I have been so busy with my internship with Studio 44 (check them out on Facebook or on their website) in Las Vegas, Nevada.  I learned so much while I was down there and I can't wait to show off what I've learned.  Here are a couple of edits I did that I think you will like :) I have also learned that I have to update a lot of my equipment if I want to keep doing what I have been doing.  I've been using Adobe Photoshop CS6 for the last month and I'm hooked!Adobe Photoshop CS6 Mac 65158496 (Google Affiliate Ad).  Alright that is all for today! Friends for Life

Sonya and Marianne haven't known each other long but they have a strong friendship.  They were helping me out with my tattoo portraits project and I snapped some candids that I thought were great.  Here they are, enjoy! And I grabbed a picture with me in it as well :)

Midnight Sun Festival 2012!

Along with the tradition of the Midnight Sun Festival Street Fair that happens along side Solstice, Dance Theatre Fairbanks makes their annual appearance to the people of Fairbanks, Alaska.  My camera did die about halfway through the first show but I got to watch both the afternoon and evening performances and get some great images from it.  Here are a few examples.  If there is anything that isn't up here that you would like to see, email me at dancingimagesphoto@gmail.com and I can get you want you need.  Thanks!
